Rising temperatures threaten heart health

Australian study showed that high temperatures is a major threat to the health of the heart, and may lead to sudden death or suffering from serious heart attack.

The researchers stressed that the higher rates and temperatures in an unprecedented increased risk of heart disease and heart attacks.

The researchers had conducted their research on a group of people during the period from 1996 to 2004, where follow-up indicated high rates of sudden death, which amounted to 34% in the sweltering summer months compared to the winter months.
